A message to our valued customers

Some of our customers may have recently received a letter from BlueRock Energy notifying them that service through our company will soon be ending. We want everyone to know that it was never desire to do so. However, we are complying with a recent ruling by the New York Appellate Division that mandates Energy Service Companies (ESCO’s), like BlueRock Energy, begin disenroll lower-income customers.

We do not agree with this decision. In the past year, we have exercised all legal means available to fight for the right of every individual, regardless of income level, to make their own choices when it comes to utility companies. A lot of misinformation has been spread about the motives and pricing policies of ESCO’s. It’s unfortunate that the unscrupulous behavior of a small number of bad actors has led to such sweeping restrictions.

So, what does this mean for our customers and for BlueRock? We are not giving up. We will continue to fight this legal battle.
